The responsibility to do everything in our power to prevent a relapse

On Thursday, Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel reached agreement with the Heads of Government of the Länder on the efforts to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic. The Federation and the Länder agreed to specific areas in which measures are to be relaxed. The Federal Chancellor emphasised that policymakers continued to have a responsibility to prevent a relapse.
